Introduction
Lodhran Pilot Project (LPP) is a prominent national-level non-governmental organization (NGO) in Pakistan, with a primary focus on serving communities in South Punjab. As part of our ongoing efforts to expand and diversify our program portfolio, we invite qualified technical consultants to express their interest in contributing to the development of competitive proposals tailored to various funding opportunities.
Objective
The primary objective of this engagement is to identify and engage technical consultants/firms with expertise in proposal development to craft high-quality and impactful proposals across various thematic areas but not limited to the following, such as:
- Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation
- Public Health and Nutrition
- Livelihood and Skills Development
- Social Cohesion and Protection
- Sports and Life Skills
- Institutional Development and Organizational Strengthening
- Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
- Governance and Localization
Scope of Work
The consultants/firms will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing relevant funding opportunities and donor requirements.
- Leading the design and writing of technical and financial proposals.
- Engaging with internal stakeholders to gather inputs and refine proposals.
- Ensuring alignment with donor guidelines, objectives, and evaluation criteria.
- Submitting deliverables by agreed deadlines.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualified individuals or firms should meet the following criteria:
- Proven track record in developing winning proposals for donors such as USAID, EU, DFID, etc.
- Expertise in one or more thematic areas mentioned above.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively under tight deadlines.
Evaluation Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Relevance of experience (40%)
- Quality of previous work (20%)
- Alignment with thematic areas (10%)
- Cost-effectiveness (30%)
Timeline & Engagements
- EOI Submission Deadline: January 25th 2025
Engagement: Shortlisted candidates/firms will be notified by January 30 and added to the LPP's regular pool of consultants. Consultants/firms will be engaged based on the organization's needs and available opportunities. Please note that being shortlisted does not imply any commitment or guarantee of engagement by the organization.
