CBM Christoffel-Blindenmission Christian Blind Mission e.V (hereafter referred as CBM) is an international development organisation, committed to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities in the poorest communities of the world. CBM’s head office is based in Bensheim, Germany. CBM operates in Pakistan on the basis of MoU signed under the INGO policy governed by the Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan. CBM’s Country Office-Pakistan is located in Islamabad. CBM works through implements projects through local partners, Government and NGOs.
Context/Activity/Objective/Expectations:
The CBM Country Office in Pakistan has rented approximately 1,700 square feet of office space in Islamabad. This space is located within the IRM complex at #7, Sunrise Avenue, Park Road, near COMSATS University, Islamabad, Pakistan. CBM Country Office, Pakistan aims to create an accessible and conducive office environment. To achieve this, we seek to hire a consultant to ensure the effective and efficient use of the available space. The consultant is expected to provide the following services:
o Provide at least three (3D) professionally designed office layout options for each scenario listed below. Ensure that each design adheres to universal design standards and incorporates CBM’s corporate colors, as well as the dimensions of existing furniture and fixtures, where applicable.
Scenario 1: Individual/separate offices with two visiting chairs and file cabinet as per plan below:
1 office for the Country Representative,
2 offices for Managers with same size, and;
1 shared office enough to accommodate 4 Officers in a workstation set-up
Scenario 2: Closed area with open workstations and file cabinets as per plan below:
1 workstation for the Country Representative,
2 work stations for Managers and;
4 work stations for Officers Other required allocations with both options:
01 conference room suitable for 8-10 participants
02 small meeting rooms for 2-4 participants
01 tea/coffee and water dispenser station
01 reception and guest waiting/lobby area with sofa setting for 5-7 people
Display zone(s) for shields, indoor plants, or decorations
File storage with cabinets,
Covered station to place UPS o Provide complete bill of quantities (BoQ) for the approved design(s) along with drawing(s) Profile of Consultant: The Consultant:
Must be legally eligible to work on this assignment i.e. have valid license/registration/qualification, clear history with reference to tax, AML/CFT etc.
Expertise and experience in designing and providing support on such an assignment
Understanding of universal design standards, specially accessibility standards, both physical and communication
Willingness to adhere to CBM’s Safeguard Policy
Able to meet deadlines
Timeframe:
The consultant is expected to complete the assignment in 05 days after signing the contract. Multiple meetings with CBM’s team and physical visit to CBM’s existing office and/or the new office is expected during planning and delivery of this assignment. Expected Cost/Budget: Maximum upto PKR 150,000, inclusive of government taxes and out of pocket expenses.
