Relevant Experience:

 1 – 2 years of experience in working in maternal and child health (MCH) settings

Job Description:

1. Assist LHVs in patient examinations, deliveries, and minor procedures
2. Support pregnant women and mothers during pre- and post-natal care
3. Assist in handling newborns under the supervision of LHVs.
4. Manage crowed of ANC, PNC, family planning patients
5. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of OPD & waiting area, labor room and delivery tables
6. Assist LHVs during patient handling, movement, and positioning
7. Ensure availability of cleanliness and assist in instrument sterilization
8. Ensure proper disposal of waste according to infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols.
9. Observe and report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff
10. Maintain respectful and culturally sensitive behavior with patients and attendants
11. Any other task assigned by supervisor
12. Ensure proper segregation and disposal of healthcare waste in accordance with IPC protocols.
13. Maintain cleanliness and disinfection of patient-care equipment, examination beds and frequently touched surfaces.
14. Assist in maintaining the readiness and cleanliness of the labour room before and after deliveries.
