Marie Adelaide Leprosy Centre (MALC) – Autism Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join its team at the Autism Centre in Baldia Town, Karachi.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy intervention plans.
• Provide therapy to improve sensory processing, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, self-care abilities, and daily living activities.
• Implement sensory integration and functional skill development activities.
• Work collaboratively with psychologists, behavior therapists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, special educators, and other multidisciplinary team members.
• Guide and educate parents on home-based therapeutic activities and strategies.
• Maintain accurate therapy records, assessment reports, progress notes, and documentation.
• Participate in case discussions, parent meetings, and awareness activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities will be preferred.
• Knowledge of sensory integration techniques and pediatric occupational therapy practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
